A sailing cruise in a catamaran and scuba-diving leave little footprint on nature and are allowing visitors to live a different way of travelling while minimizing their carbon impact.

Luxury and Comfort

Our vision is based on modern catamaran cruises managed and operated in Mauritius, Nosy Be and Kenya to complement the local tourism industry in an exclusive and unique way.

Private

Our cruises are private, the catamaran and her crew are dedicated to you during your taylor made cruise. You will enjoy the fishing and snorkeling equipment for free onboard. Contact us for sales by cabin.

Taylor made

From 4 days and up to 12, you are free to define your itinerary and activities for 2 to 8 passengers. We will alternate fishermen villages, navigation, parcs visits, beach time as you wish.

Life onboard

Your are travelling in full autonomy. Our catamarans offer 4 double cabins, 2 to 4 heads, an equipped kitchen, several relaxing areas (saloon, cockpit, trampoline). The crew is there to make your experience as comfortable as possible.

Economic

We are offerening very competitive rates with excellent service. We are operating in Madagascar since 2017 & 2019 in Mauritius. Living in a liveaboard catamaran is often cheaper than hotel, restaurants, transfers and excursions, ideally for 4 couples sharing the 4 double cabins.

Founde Indian Ocean Cruises Ltd.

In 2017, the opportunity to transform a passion and a hobby into an economic activity presented itself through a friend, Paul Bergonier, operating the company Abysses Ocean Indien in Nosy Be since 2009. This led to the acquisition of the first catamaran, a Lagoon 380 from 2002 called "BALAO", now "Sea Spirit Nosy Be".

An identical approach took place in Mauritius with another partner, Christophe Desmarais, who operates two day cruise catamarans in Mauritius with his company Catamaran Cruises Mauritius Ltd.

Indian Ocean Cruises Mauritius operates our second catamaran, a new Nautitech 40 Open with operations starting in June 2019.

Our unique liveaboard cruise experience

Cruises are always unique moments of relaxation and discovery. They allow you to discover protected, unspoilt areas, far from any city and without damaging the environment. The south (Radame) and north (Mitsio) of Nosy Be and the west coast of Mauritius are particularly beautiful.
